There's a world-wide "blogathon" happening today to raise support for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. If you would like to make a contribution to the relief effort, I recommend donating to the Red Cross. This organization has consistently rated very high at the Charity Navigator, which analyzes several characteristics of charities.
