Reader Jim T. provided us with a link to some news on CNN about Johnson & Johnson, whose never-ending string of manufacturing debacles have been well-covered in Evolving Excellence. When you get a couple of marketing people, a few scientists and a room full of accountants together - all of whom think manufacturing is not nearly as imporant as margins and brand management - this is what you get ... *Thanks Jim!*

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- The government is taking over three Tylenol plants following a blizzard of drug recalls and a Food and Drug Administration criminal investigation into safety issues at the factories.
