"*To see the enemy up close, Ford Motor Co.'s president of the Americas* \[Mark Fields\] *took a slight detour on a recent trip to San Antonio and tried to talk his way into Toyota Motor Corp.'s new pickup truck plant. They wouldn't let him in*." This according to the Detroit News.

The incident speaks well of the intelligence and common sense of both Fields and Toyota management.
