It has taken us a bit longer than expected, but over the weekend we added several new lean manufacturing, lean office, and general lean enterprise training products to the Superfactory website.
- We added Spanish language versions of several of the PowerPoint training presentations, including Lean Overview, Jidoka, Kanban, Theory of Constraints (TOC), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Training Within Industry (TWI), 3P, 5S, Value Streams, Standard Work, Quick Changeover (SMED), Kaizen, and Mistake Proofing (Poka Yoke). - We added several full training packages, each of which includes a facilitator guide, reference materials, participant workbooks, a CD with all of the materials and presentations in digital form, and relevant tools, posters, and worksheets. Topics include Lean Overview, Lean Manufacturing Workshop, 5S, Office 5S, Value Stream Mapping, VSM in the Office, Classic Kaizen, Quick and Easy Kaizen (based on Norm Bodek's book), and Quick Changeover. - At one time or another we've all relied on games or simulations to show how lean methods really do work even if they're counterintuitive. So we've added a few such games, complete with all of the pieces and instructions. They include a JIT Factory Flow Simulation, 5S Action Kit, and a general Flow Simulation. More information here.
- And finally, we added several new training videos to our DVD library. A variety of lean manufacturing topics, kaizen training, ESD and lead-free soldering training, and we're especially proud of the first two DVD's in a series on Shigeo Shingo. More information here.
The next couple of months will see several other additions, including a completely revised and updated Enterprise Series of PowerPoint presentations, which will also be translated into Spanish.
