It's Sunday; time to take a break for some lighter fare. After last weekend's post on downsizing to a smaller house with less storage space, regular reader Dawn reminded me of a great George Carlin skit on "stuff." It's been a while since I've watched it, so I was amazed at how it pointed out several aspects of 5S, inventory waste, and even supply chain problems (around 4:02 into the video). Watch it with a lean mind... you'll realize, again, how much common sense is in lean.
Perhaps a great intro for your 5S program. If you have an unusually lenient HR policy that is... be careful!
